3. Kim Peek
Kim Peek (1951-2009) was an American genius with a legendary memory and the prototype for the film Rain Man. Before becoming famous for his extraordinary memory talent, Kim Peek was an unfortunate boy, born with serious brain damage. Doctors told his parents that, unfortunately, their son would not be able to walk, or speak, let alone read or go to school, he had no future.
But like a miracle, from the age of 16 months, Peek began to read and remember everything that appeared before his eyes. By the time he reached adulthood, Peek was known as the "Living Library", or in modern language, one could call him the "Living Google". Later, he was recognized as a super scientist when he could master 15 different fields including history, universe, music, sports, geography,... and was able to memorize content. The content of at least 12,000 books is not missing a single detail and the ability to read two pages in parallel in just 8-10 seconds.
