1. Ancient bridge over Latefossen waterfall
In Hordaland County, Norway, there is a majestic waterfall located in the municipality of Odda called Latefossen or Låtefoss. This is a waterfall nearly 200m high. What makes it special is that, from the Lotevatnet Lake, the waterfall splits into two streams that rush down. The two streams meet near the end of the stream, across the road to Odda in Hordaland County.
What is special about this waterfall is that there is a stone bridge with six arches built across the waterfall to connect the road. This bridge was completed in 1859. Standing on the bridge over the Latefossen waterfall, you will see the majesty of nature, feeling like you are immersed in the beautiful waterfall.
And although visitors will have a hard time keeping their camera lenses clear of water droplets if they want to take a great photo, the Latefossen waterfall and stone bridge in Norway is still a popular tourist destination.
