Kage are generally considered to be the strongest shinobi known to the village. Through many difficult missions, they rise to the top, gaining great power and recognition from everyone. Although extremely powerful, there are some ninja in the series who have honed their skills to a level that surpasses that of a regular Kage. Here is a list of 10 Konoha ninja who are stronger than Kage level:

1. Uzumaki Naruto

Naruto is the strongest shinobi known in the history of the series, quickly surpassing both Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha. Although the path to becoming Hokage was difficult, Naruto eventually achieved his goal many years after the war ended.

When it comes to strength, no shinobi except Sasuke can match him. Naruto can fight on par with gods like Momoshiki Otsutsuki. In the future of the Boruto series, the Seventh Hokage will probably become even stronger.

2. Uchiha Sasuke

Sasuke is the strongest Uchiha in the Naruto world, and one of the most skilled shinobi known. His strength is only rivaled by Naruto Uzumaki in a fight. Sasuke was even able to overpower Madara of the Six Paths during the Fourth Shinobi World War.

His power increased significantly, even competing with Kaguya Otsutsuki in battle. In fact, Kakashi was one of the few characters to injure Kaguya with his own power. 4. Uchiha Madara

Madara is one of the most powerful shinobi of all time in the entire Naruto series. As an Uchiha, Madara possessed incredible power. Due to his constant thirst for power, Madara surpassed the regular Kage by awakening the Rinnegan, and eventually became the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails.

With his ultimate power, very few shinobi were a match for Madara. Even without the Ten-Tails, he was still above Kage level. At his full power, Madara was able to defeat the entire Shinobi Alliance, with the exception of Naruto and Sasuke.

As Hatake Kakashi's rival, Might Guy is one of the strongest people in Konoha. When he opens all eight of the Eight Gates, Guy's power increases dramatically. After opening the eighth gate, he was able to fight Madara the Six Paths, which speaks volumes about Guy's abilities.
