This jelly-like fish lives at a depth of 900m below the seabed. They can grow up to... 12m in length. Currently, due to over-exploitation by humans, this fish is facing extinction.
Although it is an inedible species, because it lives in the same area as heavily exploited species such as lobsters and crabs, it is also caught in nets. Due to its thin, vulnerable skin structure, when released back into the sea, its survival rate is almost zero.
