10 candidates for the 2024 Ballon d'Or

According to British newspaper Sportmail, after the Euro and Copa America competitions ended, Lionel Messi, Lamine Yamal, and Rodri are now leading the race for the 2024 Ballon d'Or. The Ballon d'Or was first created by France Football magazine in 1956. This year, UEFA has teamed up with Group Amaury, which owns France Football and L'Équipe, to jointly organize the Ballon d'Or starting in 2024. This new partnership aims to make the award more respected and known around the world. The 2024 Ballon d'Or ceremony will happen on October 28 at the Châtelet Theatre in Paris, France.

1. Toni Kroos
