1. Le Rosey School, Switzerland
Le Rosey Academy was founded in 1880, located near the town of Rolle, Switzerland. This school attracts many students from noble and wealthy backgrounds such as the children of billionaire Aga Khan, King Albert II of Belgium, Prince Rainier of Monaco, Jonh Lennon, Diana Ross... This school has a tuition fee of 130,000 USD/year (about 3 billion VND/year). Despite their wealthy background, students of Le Rosey still live a normal life. The school has a theater, 3 main dining halls, 2 cafeterias, about 50 classrooms, 8 laboratories and a library with 30,000 books in more than 20 different languages. Currently, the school has about 400 students aged 8-18 from 67 countries. Students are bilingual in English and French and can also learn Dzongkha or Swahili. The school limits the number of students from each country to no more than 10% of the total number of students. This is to avoid factionalism and division.
Students at Le Rosey are boarders and have special privileges. Le Rosey has a total of 53 classrooms and 8 science laboratories. In addition, the school has special classrooms for music, art and technology. Le Rosey also has 10 tennis courts, a large outdoor theater, a circus, a swimming pool, and a dedicated area for horse riding and hunting. In keeping with its high tuition fees, Le Rosey has two campuses, one in Rolle (next to Lake Geneva) for spring and the other in Gstaad for winter. Here, teaching is conducted in two languages, English and French, in addition, students can learn in other foreign languages if needed. When studying here, students are encouraged to explore and be creative, every year, the school often organizes foreign tours to help students learn about the cultures of countries around the world.
